Our management team runs the business on behalf of our Board:


Jane Warnes - Managing Director

Jane joined Cotman in 1992 as a Housing Management Officer having previously worked in the Housing and Planning departments at Norwich City Council. She has since held the positions of Area Housing Manager, Operations Manager and Director of Neighbourhood and Support Services at the association. Jane was appointed to the position of Managing Director in April 2014.

Jane studied for the Chartered Institute of Housing's professional qualification at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford and is a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

In 2011, Jane completed a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of East Anglia, where she was awarded the Norwich Business School Prize for the best overall performance by an MBA student.


Jameel Malik - Head of Service Delivery

Jameel was appointed to the position of Head of Service Delivery at Cotman in April 2014. He was previously Warwick District Council's Head of Housing and Property Services since 2010 with responsibility for strategic housing, the housing landlord function (providing services for some 6,000 tenants and leaseholders) and the repairs and maintenance of the Council's corporate assets. Before joining Warwick he held the positions of Housing and Regeneration Manager, Regeneration Manager and Senior Policy Officer at Hull City Council, Walsall Housing Group and Sandwell Council, respectively.

Jameel was a Non-Executive Director for Black Country Housing for 9 years and has been a member of Joseph Rowntree's Place Strategy Group. He holds a LLB (Hons), a LLM in Commercial and Corporate Law from the London School of Economics and a MBA with Distinction.


Lisa Clark - Assistant Accountant

Lisa joined Cotman in March 2014 as Assistant Accountant.

Lisa has worked in finance and accounting roles for 24 years -  22 years at Aviva and more recently Norfolk County Council. Responsibilities in a variety of roles have included credit control, expense management and reporting, finance planning and reporting, finance system user testing, governance of offshored finance processes and  balance sheet reconciliation governance.

Lisa is part qualified Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds a CIMA diploma in management accounting. She is also a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.


Sally Davies - Corporate Services Manager

Sally joined Cotman in 1996 as PA to the Chief Executive from the very different world of PR and sports marketing in London.  In 2001, she completed the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development professional qualification, becoming a chartered member in 2007. 

In addition to human resource management, Sally has overall responsibility for providing governance and admin support to the Board of Management, the corporate services function and facilities management.


Kerry Diggens - Lettings Team Manager

Kerry joined Cotman in June 2000, covering maternity leave in the Finance Department ,  she moved to the Allocations team in 2014, and following Cotman's restructure in January 2016, was appointed Lettings Team Leader. In her current role she specialises ensuring her team are making sustainable lettings, whilst keeping void costs and re-let times to a minimum. In Kerry's spare time she is a huge football fan and has a season ticket for her beloved Norwich City Football Club.    

Nicola Fountain - Tenancy Services Team Manager

Nicola joined Cotman in September 2013 on a career break as a Police Officer for several years with the Norfolk Constabulary.  In her current role she specialises in tenancy enforcement and effectively managing anti-social behaviour.  Nicola enjoys skiing and world travel.  She has a degree in Travel and Tourism Management and is currently working to her CIH Level 4 Certificate in Housing.


Nicky Galwey-Woolston - Support and Tenancy Sustainability Manager

Nicky joined Cotman in this role in September 2012. Nicky manages our sheltered housing, older people's outreach and tenancy services.

Nicky has 22 years' experience of working in the housing sector, both for Local Authorities and Housing Associations. She has worked in front line housing management, housing strategy and has managed housing support teams.  Nicky is a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. 


Nigel Gardiner - Property and Compliance Manager

Nigel joined Cotman in 1999 as a Property Surveyor having previously spent 7 years in a similar role with another local housing association.

Nigel studied for and completed a BSc (Hons) Building Surveying Degree at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford in 2002.

Nigel undertook a Developing Manager Training Programme at the Roffey Park Institute in 2005 and was promoted to his current role of Property Services Manager in 2006.


Amanda Parnell - Customer Liaison Manager

Amanda joined Cotman Housing Association in July 2006 as the Senior Customer Services Officer, having previously worked for a local authority via a contractor as a tenant liaison officer, and with a long history in customer services. Amanda was appointed Customer Liaison Manager in Dec 2015. Amanda is currently a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing Eastern Regional Board, and she has previously been a trustee for Norwich & Central Norfolk MIND.
